so after waiting in line for a ps3 since wednesday nite at 10pm...we were told they would do a lottery for the 28 systems they had...

wtf?!?!?

then when the manager was handing out tickets we said that we wished she would have told us 2 days ago, and she got a horrible attitude with us...
worst customer service evar...i don't cae if they sale 50in tvs for $5...i will never shop there again...

there were 30 of us total stangers camping out the whole time....no problems at all....we had a good time waiting, but this shit was ridiculous...


needless to say...only 3 of the 30 actually "won" the chance to buy a ps3...
 
i think everyone should do it like this to avoid lines and camping... just allow people to submit to the lottery for a game system the day before (anounce when you will be giving out tickets days/weeks in advance)

this should reduce thefts/shootings etc.
 
yeah true..it was a fun experience but still....ya know, when you put a sign out 24 hours in advance that says "line forms here" you better fuckin mean it...
it was overall just pathetic...
 
that would have been fine....if they would have announced it...but they waited until around 3:30am to tell people that the lottery started at 6:30am
 
Damn, sorry to hear. I'd probably go insane on somebody. I went to camp for a 360 at Best Buy last year and they were telling everyone to go home. They said they only had 20 systems when, in reality, they actually had about 50.
 
how did you see this e-mail?

plus the lottery system seemed to be a rather common thing. So you sure this 'e-mail' didnt tell them all to do this?
