I went awol in boot camp from the Navy 9 yrs ago?

I went awol from boot camp 9 yrs ago. B4 I finished boot camp about 7 weeks in. I was young and very stupid will this effect any grants for school????
I went awol from boot camp 9 yrs ago. B4 I finished boot camp about 7 weeks in. I did however face the music and turned myself in and was discharged. I was young and very stupid will this effect any grants for school????
 
Just a bit............you won't be able to get one.

You're older now, but are adult enough to face the music?
