I weigh 135.5lbs (5'5'' 1/2). Can I lose 10-15 lbs by eating healthy and exercising at..

...a gym? Both BMIs for my current weight (135.5 lbs) and my goal weight (115-120lbs) are within my body's normal weight range, so I am not aiming to be underweight. Despite that, losing 10-15 lbs when you're already at a normal body weight I'd imagine would be pretty tough. My friends tell me I don't need a strict diet, that if I simply eat healthy and exercise regularly that I can lose the weight. However I'm a little skeptical... Is it really possible?
