I watched the Lord's boot camp the other day...?

and I was a little disturbed that they only talked to children and elderly people, it felt like they were going for people that were more impressionable...I was just wondering if anyone else saw the special and what your thoughts are.

also I don't mean to come off as rude, it just gave me an uneasy feeling when they were at the nursing home, and then again when they were giving that "survey" at the fair in Indiana.

I thoroughly enjoyed when the young missionaries washed the kids feet and then gave them shoes in Kenya though.

I watched part of it with my wife. I felt creeped out at some of the camp leaders. It's amazing how we Christians do not realize that our cheesy jerkness pushes more people away than we realize...
 
The Lord's Boot Camp: a group of people that intend to brainwash others into their cult.
 
They tend to only show the clips that gave the most controversy. I'm sure there were many others that that talked to, but were not as interesting.

My daughter went to Nicaragua with this group last summer and loved it.
Boot Camp was very tough but she grew though it.

I didn't see it, but I have a question for you. Were the missionaries SDA's?
 
I've never heard of it. But some of the reasoning behind mostly talking to older and younger people is probably because young people can change there entire life by knowing God and old people are closer to dying so they want to make sure they are saved.

I haven't seen the whole movie, "Jesus Camp," but I've seen clips. It IS disturbing.
