...burn. Is this a hernia? I was standing up leaning on this curl press thing (i don't know what its called) doing curls obviously.... on my last rep I tried to lift extremely hard, and half way up I felt this really sharp pain, to be precise it was about 5 inches below my belly button, and about 4 or so inches over to MY right. I dropped the weight immediately, then it started to burn. At first I thought I pulled something but then I thought about a hernia. Do you think this is a hernia? It's been about an hour since this happened and its not really hurting, but there is some discomfort right in that exact spot and it doesn't feel right. When I walk I can feel it. I'm kind of worried right now because I've had a couple surgeries in the past several months and I'm sick of taking time off the gym.

I'm really just worried that I'll have to take a lot of time off the gym and maybe have surgery which I really don't want. I want to get back to the gym asap so please help me out with some info!

eric S...... When I push on it right now it doesn't really hurt. It feels tender I guess like kinda of bruised I guess you could say. Also, the surgeries that I have had in the past several months was on my thumb and nose, nothing to do with that area just in case it matters.
