...carpenter? do i really get to do that job? or will i do something else? how long would it be before i get shipped to Iraq? can anybody give me some personal experience or somebody that you know that has been an army carpenter or from that field?
 
I was not a carpenter but a buddy of mine was and when he was deployed his first time he helped rebuild baghdad, he enjoyed it, but it was really hard work. also I was told by my husband that one of the components is only recruting for infantry so be sure you get what you want do not join on the army's terms I did and I was pretty bumed when I was not doing what I wanted to.
