alright if you're getting lower case then it's just weaker reception of the capital letters...edge = weaker EDGE and gprs = weaker GPRS reception...hope this helps

oh...in Long Beach also so props to EDGE!

I had the same problem all day edge not EDGE and as a result, no pushed
email, internet or mms. I thought it was a BIS outage, but after a call to ATT
when I realized it was too long for a BIS outage, I found out my BB data plan
had been taken off my account. Why? I have no idea, it just was. They apologized
and added it right back on while I was on the phone.
I was not very happy about this at all...

When you get edge this is what it means:

EDGE and GPRS = data service
edge and gprs = no data service

ummm not sure that is correct...i have sent/received data while in edge or gprs...it's just much much slower than their capital counterparts

Its very rare that you can send anything usually when you have edge or gprs. It normally won't go through. ~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~
