She's not dead. I haven't seen this in any newspaper or magazine. Maybe you're looking at those rag tabloids at the supermarket checkout.

I looked this up because my sister is a big Dirty Dancing fan. I haven't seen anything about this anywhere. But rumors are what some papers and magazines are made of. They don't have to be true. Grey appears to still be alive. If she isn't, nobody on-line seems to know.
