I was wondering if i could go over a cursive tattoo to make the writing thicker?

my tattoo is quite spacious i just think the writing is abit thin, is this possible to go over it?
 
if there is room to make it thicker. You can have it touched up or darkened if you need to. Show a tattoo artist and they will let you know what they can do.[:
