As you know my name is Bakos133
I have a quick question and was hoping to get some relief on the issue with as little criticism as possible.
Apparently when i post on forums, its called "spamming".. so i have resorted to my final and last front.
Here is my situation.
I have installed Oblivion GOTY for pc.
Immediately after i installed said game, i played it and thought that after a while, it got VERY boring due to lack of combat tactics. I thought to myself.. i remember a mod quite a while back, which is still called Deadly Reflex, that let me dismember and THINK of my next move.
Back when this mod was still being made, i believe i grabbed the first version, it was very limited,
you got to choose the chance of dismemberment in percentages, and i would ALWAYS choose 100%
But thats irrelevant.
I took action to my thoughts and downloaded the NEWEST version of Deadly Reflex's called "Deadly Reflex's 6(BETA)"
I followed the installation instructions to the T, and it worked BEAUTIFULLY!
At first none of the buttons worked, but then i started a new game and it fixed itself.
I had troubles with retrieving thrown weapons from the bodies, due to the fact that it would crash IMMEDIATELY after i opened the bodies inventory.
After a while it got very fun and i missed a part in the read-me that stated, "DON'T USE TGM(god mode) WITH THIS MOD SEEING HOW IT WILL BREAK IT!
I activated it because i was over encumbered, and low-n-behold it broke.
Every time i tried to throw my weapon, the game would freeze, then crash immediately.
I am still having this problem.
Steps i have taken:
1) I have done 12(exactly) fresh installs
2) i have installed all requirements except for the HUD seeing how i am not applying different huds.(Mod said it was optional)
3) I have installed the "fix" for the meshes. (They were posted with the mod.)(They said it was a temporary fix, but it has not fixed my issue)
4) I have installed all OFFICIAL PATCHES
5) I have tried posting my problem a few times on the mods site forum, but everytime i do, i get this message from other users AND the mod owners. "Posting your problems in this forum about our mod not working is called Spamming, do not continue this or we will be forced to ban your account"
(I have looked at other posts from users, and they all say the same thing as i do, i only summed up what theirs said in a simple few statements.)
6) I have done numerous searched on google about my problem, nothing comes up, just users picking on other users in forums, not helping what so ever.
Those are the steps i have taken, and NONE of them were successful.
Some of them even got me virtually picked on.. which is not fun :\
Its life i guess.
So my question is:
Can anybody give me ANY assistance on my problem, without directing me to forums of course, and maybe solve it with me once and for all?
Also, if said person could walk me through the assistance they are offering with maybe steps, or any other way, it would be GREATLY appreciated.
I apologize for my ENORMOUS post/ question,
But it is about time ONE person got the FULL solution to this problem so they can help out others.
(And not "spam" for once :S)
