Yeah Verizon also requires a security deposit. I had the same problem when I was trying to get a cell phone. Heres how it went tmobile didnt require a deposit at all sprint required $100 and verizon and ATT required $500.
 
...with a verizon cell phone? I know att are asking for a 500 down payment to establish. Im 21 and havent established credit and am wondering if i have to pay for a payment to establish credit for a verizon cell phone.
 
Verizon has 2 deposit tiers- $125 and $400, depending on your credit level. You could also be denied. If you need one at ATT, you will most likely need one for Verizon too. Or you can do prepaid for Verizon- you can get their exact same regular monthly plan for only $5 more a month, and its prepaid instead of postpaid
