I am wandering what you have to do to start your own school of swordsmanship or well sword class whatever you want to call it, i was wandering about legal issues such as weather you need a particular license and how one would get started, as for the style i would teach, well, i'm not practiced in any single style of swordsmanship but i am well practiced in the art of using the sword, and no im not just a guy who copies the movies i get up each day and practice my draw technique as well as swinging technique such as speed, accuracy etc, i'm decent with a sword and understand i still have a ways to go but i was wandering if you have to have a recognition license from a martial arts federation like in regular martial arts in order to teach and how one would get started, any information would be helpful but don't say got learn such and such or go learn a particular style i plan on schooling in several different sword styles when i find a place to do so, but this is a question about everything i need to do to become an instructor, the particular sword i'm speaking of is the katana and yes i know to use shinai and boken when sparing, i just need to know how to get started i'm sorry if i seem picky about an answer i just don't want anyone coming in and telling me things i already know i would appreciate a good helpful answer as i am serious about teaching swordsmanship, hopefully for a living.
