Note: Please be aware that I am NOT a sore loser. I would LOVE to learn from my mistakes, which is why Im asking what I am. Yesterday, during three rounds of policy debate, we won twice and lost once. When we lost, it wasnt because our plan was worse or less informed...it was because the judge wasnt listening during my partner's last speech. He was making ORIGAMI planes during our last speech!!! HOWEVER, during our last round it got really weird. My partner agreed that I spoke the best out of all the people (her included) but I got 4th rank. THATS really unfair. If we all got 27.5 as speaker points, and I made the strongest points, spoke the best, clearer than the other team, why did he rank me last? He offered no reasonable explanations for my low rank so I am really confused. Is it just the fact that he was a terrible judge?
