I'm in grade 10 pre Ap (advanced placement) course and we are now on our chemistry unit. I learnt balancing chemical equations yesterday and I was wondering is it normal to be a bit confused as to how to do it for like the first week or two. So many people in my class grasp the concept but quite a few people also don't get it. I'm a bit worried that I may not get it fast enough. How long does it usually take to become proficient at it?
