...liable for the plaintiffs legal fee? "Judgment for the defendant." The case is over but I am willing to pay what I owe. However, the plaintiff is asking me to "work out" something with the legal fees. Since I won the case I don't believe that I am responsible for the legal fees. Am I wrong?
 
No, you won. The Plaintiff is responsible for his own legal fees.

Unless, of course, you feel like donating some of your hard earned money towards the legal fees he racked up by trying to sue you.

I think not...
 
no. You don't have to pay for winning. Let him take you to court again for the legal cost and he can run up an even higher bill.
