probation. How will this affect me? I left an angry message on my friend's cell phone, and he happened to listen to it while driving. A car hit him, and he died. I was convicted of 20th degree murder in court, and sentenced to 3 months of probation. I was originally charged with 19th degree murder, but luckily the jury couldn't find anything to refute my claim of dialing the wrong number. So now what will happen? Will this stay on my record for ever? Can I still get a decent job?
