...but still have yet to buy any games. I have my VC controllers still in the package...

I'll definitely get Super Mario World and Super Metroid when they hit....considering Mario 64 today and maybe Super Castlevania IV today just to check it out and make use of my controllers.

I thought I'd buy a ton of games but I guess even though it's not much, I can't get myself to shell out the money on most of those games because I'll play them when I get them and probably never again...ya know?

Which games have you guys bought? Recommend anything? There are a few games I never played back in the day.
 
no donkey kong would just use the wii remote horizontally, some games let you use a gamecube controller. and the classic controller connects to the wii remote like the nunchuk does.

I just bought Donkey Kong, need GC controller or Classic to play it. Luckily I found my gamecube controller lying about =]

I bought 3000 points for ?21 equivalent of $40. How much does it cost you guys for 3000 points? I hope we are not getting ripped off as usual.
 
I was honestly excited for VC too.

Sadly, it hasnt turned out to be what i thought it should be. Yeah releasing games on mondays makes for good hype and anticipation, but when your not releasing games that really anyone wants, who gives a fuck.

I mean honestly, Soccer, baseball, etc? How about fucking Baseball Stars, A mario on the SNES at least, and super mario kart on the SNES as well.

Along with pilotwings, Goldeneye, mega man , excitebike, 1080, some mario partys, starfox, etc.

Honestly, the rate, and quality of the games coming out fucking SUCKS.

As far as what ive bought, I think i got Sonic for the gf, as well as zelda 1 ( why? i should of waited for the snes version of zelda ) and bomberman ( that was a good release ).
 
and playing games on emulators has never done it for me. there is always something just not quite right about the feel, even with a USB controller, playing on the TV, everything. the VC is perfect.
 
we bought mario 64, smb and the original zelda

plus today I used my best buy gift cards to buy a wavebird, a pair of gameshark wireless gamecube controllers and mario cart: double dash for the GC. Then I went to blockbuster and used my e-coupon to rent metroid prine 2

Too true, the ps3 has one decent game out, once its completed there is very little to do. The Wii, I have no desire to buy any Wii games at the moment and am content with just Wii Sports, VC and backwards compatibility.



P.S. I have a ps3 too. Haven't touched it in over two weeks.
