I went to the dermatologist this morning and she prescribed Finacea topical cream for my acne and redness. She also said to stop using the cleansers/creams I am using now and use cetaphil instead. She said cetaphil won't feel like it's really cleaning my face because it's creamy, but she said stick with it and don't use any additional facial lotion.
So, what's up with Finacea? Anyone tried it? The doctor said to use a Q-tip and apply only to the pimples because it lightens the skin and I don't want my entire face to get lighter, only the dark scars and pimples.
If you've tried Finacea, please tell me your story and any advice. And also, is cetaphil really that creamy? I hope I like it.
Thanks!
