A lady I know told me about taking her child for a doctor's visit a few days ago. Her child is around 9-12 years of age. She informed me that with all the paper work she had to fill out, the child was given a personal paper of their own to fill out. She told me on the paper the questions asked: If the child was homosexual, if they had ever felt they were, if they were unsure of their sexuality, and if they may be homosexual. (Keep in mind these were questions for the child to feel out themselves)
I found this shocking because a child at such a young age shouldn't have to fill this out. I mean what purpose does this serve for the doctor's/staff?? There's just so many things wrong with this picture! (the fact the child was being questioned of their sexuality)
My question is: Do most doctor offices have these now for children to fill out themselves?
To Bingo: What if the child doesn't want the parent to know? Obviously the parent saw it because she knew the questions. So it couldn't be too confidential.
