AWOL. What do you think? I didn't believe the prosecution of the war before it happened; I didn't choose to participate. I was in a combat MOS, and I didn't try to get conscientious objector status because it would have been supporting a cause I objected to. My stance is to not oppose all war, yet I had clear objections to that war. To the best of my knowledge I don't think that complies with Army policy on conscientious objector status leaving AWOL as the other option.
