Hello, I am a 17 year old male and I was in a car accident today. It was my fault as my attention was unfortunately diverted from me for a quick second which was all that was needed. I was coming out of my school and rear-ended someone and hit his bumper which fell of (thats all that happened to his car) and my car is damaged in the front more on one side. I have endured severe emotional stress from this. This is my first accident and my car will cost a bit over 3000 dollars for me and I do not know how much his car will cost for repairs. I feel down right now and am upset my parents have to pay this much and that I don't have a car to drive to school or for leisure activities, and my parents are fairly upset (more my father). How do I stop being so sad about this?! Its been persistent for the last few hours and will cling to my mind for weeks.
