Right i need a little help,
A few weeks ago 2 of my friends bought a car out of the newspaper, they are both only 16 and weren't planning to drive it on the streets or anything just in the car park where the old owner took it to meet them. After driving about for it in a while there confidence got too high and they drove it back to one of there houses. The next day I met them without even knowing they had bought the car, my friend noticed where he was parking it was blocking somebodys driveway so he was away to move it. I went with him and driving down the street he pulled over to let an oncoming car through but he hit a parked car, We both panicked and fled the scene. My 2 friends were questioned by the police today and said they would not mention my name but eventually they had too as the police knew there was 2 people in the car. So now the police want too talk to me about it the driver of the car was underage and the car had no insurance mot or tax so he has been handed a few charges i was just wondering as the passenger is there anything i can be charged with. The police told my friend that I wouldnt be charged with anything but I am not sure if that is just too get me to go to the police station and not run.
