I'm a major adventure seeker and I'm fascinated by Transylvania's history. I want to hike/camp in the forests and tour the castles (especially Corvinus' castle). Is it smart to actually hike in the forests? I did some research and read that there are wolves and a great abundance of bears there. I don't want to follow an itinerary or stay at a tourist hotel, I just want an adventure in the untamed forests..is this idealistic or does anyone have any REALISTIC advice? And roughly how expensive would this trip be? Thanks!
