I want to transfers to a university, but i have a bad school history. idk what to do?

Im gonna make this quick. During highschool i did very bad. I goofed off n all. After i graduated, im staying at home and going to a community college. If i do really well and stay focused and make like all A's, can i transfer to a university after the first year? I really want to leave after this first year. The school i want to go to requires 26 credits and ill only have 24. They said i can still transfer, but i have to show some highschool history. ( which sucked) do you think ill be able to transfer???? Please help me
