A little over a year ago my grandparents bought me a 2007 White 4 door Chevy Cobalt the only problem is that it doesn't have power locks and windows so I want to trade it in. My grandparents said I can trade it in I just have to sell it and do all the research by myself. The only problem is that I have absolutely no clue on how to sell this car or trade it in. It's still being paid off so should I try to sell it myself and use the cash to buy my next car? I'm also wondering how much I should sell it for. Help?
By the way I'm trying to buy a 2007-2009 Honda or Toyota maybe a Honda Civic,Honda Accord, Toyota Corolla. Something small with good MPG. Is this reasonable? I'm trying to not spend much more money than I'm going to sell the car for.

don't trade it in with money still owed yes dealer will pay it off but you'll still have to pay the dealer for new car and the payoff of the old car to the dealer. call the bank and see what payoff is on the loan then sell it for that plus a little more you and the buyer will have to go to the bank with grand parents( if there name is on the loan) to get loan paid off kbb.com get on the website and see how much car is going to sell for under private sell remember go high so you can get down to what you need
