I want to take a video on my Panasonic FZ35 and put it on a DVD but it won't let me?

Whenever I put the memory card into my laptop, it just shows the pictures. How can I make a dvd full of memories if I can't even get my laptop to recognize the videos are there?

I have a Panasonic FZ35
I have a Sony Vaio laptop

I don't know what setting it's recording in. I've tried every button I think to try and figure it out. Probably RAW or .MOV
