I want to take a course in photography but dont know if i should drop out of College.?

Im very unhappy at my current college and i am seriously considering going to a different college to take courses in photography.
Ive always been interested in it and i feel my life would feel more fulfilling if i was doing something i loved! im a complete beginner though.. so is it a good idea to drop out of my college and go do photography somewhere else even though i have no photography experience..

Please give me an honest answer.
I dont really struggle with it i just really dislike it.
I did quite well in GCSE's and my AS levels came out better than i expected really.
I just dislike what im doing at the moment.
I wouldnt know how to get going with the photography though?
Are you a proffesional photographer? how did you get started?
Ive only been back at college for a week or so and its just proved how unhappy i am there!

are you struggling with your course. or just unhappy? ultimatley it's your decision, others can guide you and give you advice but this is your future we're talking about. If you really want to do photography then if i were you i would transfer colleges. but i would probably wait till the end of term otherwise you will have wasted a year..
