I'm on a family plan with Sprint, and my mom let me use her upgrade discount to get a Nexus S 4G. I tried to activate it online through my specific user account on Sprint, but it said the DEC number was incorrect/unrecognizable. I found this to be strange because I inputted the DEC number right and I have activated quite a few phones this past year through my account with no problems at all. So I tried activating it under my mom's user account to see if it would work, and it did. It said though that I would have to change plans in order to be able to use the phone, and it's $40 more than what I'm paying now, so I decided that I'm not even going to activate the phone at all and I'm just going to sell it on Ebay. Obviously though, it can't be registered by just anyone using Sprint considering it wouldn't activate on my account but it would of on my mom's. My question is, what would I have to do to make the phone usable by anyone with a Sprint account? Thanks.
