I want to make a homemade going away present for my boyfriend. IDEAS??

My boyfriend is moving & i want to make him a homemade present. Since he is really into art, I want it to be something he can put on his shelf (but not a poster, scrapbook, or a picture frame) and see every morning when he wakes up. I was thinking of making him turtle doves (one to stay with me and one to go with him) or something like that. Like a small sculpture/mantle piece made of some medium (shells, buttons, etc), since I can't draw to save my life.

Any ideas for what to make and more importantly, HOW to make it? Something unique and thoughtful...arts & crafts type stuff...

get soap stone and carve those turtle doves you were talking about.....

i am leaving 8 hours away from home soon and i wish my girl would make me something like that


anyhow either frame a poem or get soap stone and carve turtle dove
