I want to learn how to live an 'austere' lifestyle in a recession?

I'm from Ireland so naturally due to the recent developments its necessary for me to
adopt an 'austere' lifestyle.
I feel like i do already as i never spend money on entertainment..etc.
But its not enough & now i need new measures.
How can i be more 'austere'? Thats the governments words!!!
Become totally aestetic??
