i want to know in short if bash perl python and php will help me in webdevelopment?

i want to know in short if bash perl python and php will help me in webdevelopment later or is just not for webdevelopers and i should concentrate on other ones like php asp.net ruby on rails etc?
i know bash is command line scripting for linux.. but is t of any use if i want to do webdvelopment..? i head it does help a lot in server side scripting?
