I wish I could join the Marines as it has always been my dream but I also do not want to leave my girlfriend and my family behind which are the people whom I am very attached to. But please do not get mad at me that I am a coward because I am not scared to fight with blood for this country. I want to join the military but is there certain jobs that you can get and be deployed less? I cant see myself away from my loved ones for one year!!!. I want to join the coast guard...but I dont know if they need people I hear its very full. Coast guard is my last choice I would very much rather be a marine and be infantry but I just cant picture myself away from loved ones...yes I know i have to toughen up but I just cant do it,,, is there something I could do?
