I am retired Coast Guard
.
And I am a little prejudice I know
.
But when I went in in 66 My intentions were to dodge bullets in Nam
.
And when my 4 years was up
.
Well the rest is history
,
I retired in 86 because I got hurt kind of bad and am a disabled veteran now besides being retired for the Coast Guard
.
And the benefits are to many to name here
Being retired in 86 from the Coast Guard and a 100% disabled veteran
,
So if you do go into the reserve you will be in for a shock
.
it is a family of men and a few women the average base is or use to be 55 persons
.
The larger ones were 200
.
It is a small force of men and you are not just one in 5,000 on a n
Navy ship
.
Or one of the couple of thousand in the
Army
And hate to say but the people I have known in the a
Army have had some bad blood in liking it
.
