A friend and I are going to hike the Grand Canyon for sponsorship. I am going on a missions trip next summer and I have to raise money, so this is one idea. We were thinking we could get sponsorship per mile that we hike in a single weekend. Is this a good idea? Any advice on how to get adequate sponsorship? The hike would be sometime in early spring, possibly March.
