Person" so how can I? Like Obama's grandmother, I'm a "Typical White Person".

Are we doomed to never understand racial issues.

It makes me sad :(

As a guy that has a white step mother, yes she can be racist, the same as Rev Wright can be a racist. My mixed brother was called the N_word as a baby to my step mom's face and she called them one right back. They in my opinion are both in the wrong, but one wrong doesn't right another. I beleive people to be primitive beings in that we all have blood in gerneral runing though our bodies, 98% salinity, yet we impune each other with radical differences of opinion. Human judgement is imperfect because most if the time it can't be impartial.

To quote so many white people that frequent Y!A: "get over it".

No one is stopping you from doing anything. But you have no interest in actually discussing anything. You are just interested in race baiting.

You can, i am a typical black peson, lets talk issues!

We can all understand racial issues if we just think about and recognize everyone's personal and individual experience! It will explain why people beleive what they beleive and how each person feels on issues.

Man, it sure is easy to pull a few words out of a sentence to twist the meaning and intentions of the phrase, aye?

Leave the labels behind ("typical white person") and quit being part of the problem. Just ask questions in a normal, mature, rational way.

I was offended by the "typical white person" statement as well. Obama did not mind truck rolling over his grandma, and every other white. But, he will stand by his racist preacher.

You can if you can read, travel and keep an open mind. If you are limited within your white race, you will be challenged, by being called a typical white person and you will keep asking questions like this.
