I want to go to WKU (western kentucky university) to study meteorology. I am in grade 10 right now.. how much would it cost to go to school there or any university in the south-east USA?

Depending on whether you receive any bursaries/scholarships, it can easily cost $50 000+ a year. You have to pay/apply for visas, international tuition, boarding, books/supplies, food, etc. You also need to take your SATs, and be very active in terms of extracurricular/ community service. You also can't get a job to support yourself unless you got a green card.

I would advise taking your undergrad in Canada, where it's much cheaper and convenient. You're eligible for plenty of government funded services (health, for example) and can pretty much earn a decent wage to help get you through school. After you graduate, take your post grad in the States. Not only will there be less competition, but you would probably be able to earn and save enough during your undergrad years so by the time you get your masters, your debts will be much lower.
