I want to go to the movies but my child has misbehaved today. I have no sitter...

...debating weather to go? all day long she has been acting up so here I am Friday night thinking of going to the movies. Then I tell her about how shes been acting and she continues to talk smack shes 10 so shes in her so call " pre teen stage. Help!!! I feel bad if i leave her home without seeing the movie! She will not stay home alone she will stay with her grandparents.
 
Tell her that yes, you're taking her to the movies, but also inform her that this is her /last chance/. Then say something like, "if you misbehave again, I'll take away this-and-this", and actually carry out the threat if she misbehaves.
Not taking her to the movies won't solve anything, but if you actually warn her about misbehavior, you have every right to not let her go where she wants next time.
