I want to join the military to go in to intel, so when I get out I can have the back round for the FBI, CIA, Etc,,, I don't need people saying I am dumb for joining the military blah blah blah. My question is what will be the best branch to go in to and what will be the best job, I know it is a broad subject but I would like to become a field agent in CIA or FBI for investigation. So I need some one with military knowadge of jobs

The Air Force trains a LOT of the Marines and Army in Intelligence and has one of the best intelligence programs. Goodfellow AFB in Texas does the training for the most part (go see their website) ALSO, look up intelligence jobs in ALL branches.

Also keep in the mind that while no job is guaranteed until you have it in writing...in the ARMY that doesn't work all the time. Fine print states they can take your guaranteed job and make you do whatever they want if they think they need to. They are notorious for that...personal experience talking here.

Ex husband is in the Army and son is in the Air Force. After much researching and decision making, his father actually suggested the Air Force, stating that he wished he had as well.

Good Luck
