I want to have a domain of my own called www.ravidesilva.com. This address is still not taken.
How can I do it?
Where to register? What is the process?
I am from Sri Lanka. Can I get a .com domain? Or am I restricted to a .lk?
How much will I have to pay?
Do you actually have to have a site hosted in some web-server? Is this mandatory?
 
ya sure you can register your domain name with as you wish .com extension..........good place to register domain name , just visit this site WhoisXY.com , here it gives the easy methods to register domain name........
