I want to get a motorcycle! But I'm not so sure where to start. Any help?

I've been on the back of them a lot, but never really driven one. I'd like to learn how to ride one before I go out and actually buy one (obviously!).

So, I guess my first question is- how do I go about learning to drive one? (The only people I know who could teach me are my exes.. and I'm not talking to them anymore!)

Also, when it comes time, what sort of bike should I look into buying? Something that's fairly cheap and safe, but doesn't look completely lame and novice? What's the price range of it?

any info would be helpful, thanks!
oh, also- will the fact that I've been in 3 car accidents (long story!) affect me getting a motorcycle liscense?

Also, I'm VERY small- 5'0", 100 lbs. and I think I'm looking for a used one, but with low mileage.
 
Im not a expert in motorcycle and I dont know the cost but you should start looking in www.ebay.com there is a great variety of motorcycles new or used or if you want you could consult newspapers and look for some good offers! Hope I help you!
