I have been wanting to get a good fixed gear bike to ride around town. I have met some people who have given tips on which types and all but nothing too concrete so far.
Here is what I have:
-Get a metal frame because they absorb bumps more than aluminium.
-Flip Flop Hub wheel set
-A bike with Horizontal Drops
- Either Risers or Bullhorn bars
- and a 47/17 gear ratio
That's about it and it was from this guy who rides bike a lot and was drunk at a bar. I'm not looking to spend too much money, few hundred and max, but want something to ride around town. Any information would really help me out. Thanks again.
