Long story short, I would have never gone to college had I know that Sallie Mae would ruin my life.
I was an Honor's Graduate; I graduated with a Bachelor's in English, and I am MTEL certified, lucky enough to even find a job.
My current job I only make 1050 per month. My second job I only make 200 per month (so, a total of 1250 per month).
My TOTAL loan costs add up to 930 dollars a month.. Sallie Mae being 730 dollars.
I live at home, and am currently the only employed person in my family. I CAN NOT afford to keep living this way. I am left with 322 a month for other bills, gas, food, and clothing.
I want to fight against Sallie Mae. I have already contacted my state's representatives over this issue and received little help. I contacted Sallie Mae and they only gave me a 555 dollar per month interest option. Who can I talk to? Can I fight and win? What are my options, someone, anyone, PLEASE??
