I want to do something to help people as a career...got any ideas?

I am 16 and trying to decide what to study in college. i want to do something when i graduate that will benefit children/people in other countries. (ex:uganda). can anyone give me ideas for a job or what to study in college.
I was thinking international relations/bussiness
