...lifestyle. How can I go about this? I'm a student/teacher and cannot afford to join a yoga studio. Not only that, I am discouraged by the lack of classes in my area. At the same time, I wish I could join a studio, because I also feel like I don't have much space in my apartment and find it hard to motivate myself to work out at home.

I am really eager to learn everything there is to know about yoga but I get bored with DVDs and do not thing I would enjoy following a workout from a book.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could get into yoga for a low cost? Any suggestions for books, DVDs, podcasts, whatever is very welcome and appreciated.

Here in the Baton Rouge, LA area we have this learning center - The Red Shoes and the cost is low, not a high attendance. Too bad you're not here. check with some Metaphysics stores ones that sell incense, crystals, stuff like that and see if they have any classes. True dat, the DVDs and books look great but it's more fun with others.
