i want to create a wildlife pond?

i want to create a wildlife pond on my allotment to attract frogs and toads etc. but i have no electricity supply for a pump and such things so can anyone tell me how i could keep the water reasonably clean and healthy please? the pond will be approx 5ft long x 3ft wide x 2.5ft deep
