I want to change my automatic 93 honda civic hatchback to a manual, how much

will it cost and what will i need? I'm already going to put a new engine in it so i figured i would just change it to a manual too. I was thinking about a B18c Vtec for the engine, other suggestions for the engine would be great too. and i don't want an answer talking me out of changing it to a manual, Thanks
