I want to buy an E-Reader... but?

Can you download books for free like you can songs, with sharing programs??

Please dont get on my a$$ about file sharing... I dont care if you're supposed to buy them, and
I dont need your input...

So can I download as many books as I want at my free will, like I can with songs? Or do you HAVE to buy them?
