I want to bring my cell phone to Summer camp...soo?

Okay So, I want to bring my cell phone to summer camp this summer, I am going to camp monahan for a week this summer but i dont want it to die on the first night, i want it to last the whole time, first of all, will my cell work out of the city (can i text), and second, is there a way to keep it charged longer than like 3 days?
 
yes you will probably be able to text and ur phone will probably be able to work there unless u wont have any bars. i have at&t and my phone works pretty much anywhere. ummm and if they dont have outlets there then i say u dont use your phone so much and during the night turn it off.
