I want to be lawyer then go into Politics.What should I do?

I am about to start my second year of high school with an GPA of 3.5 and all my classes are honor classes and one of my electives are Debate. I am very aware of what is going on politically in our country and can talk in front of large crowds of people. What should I do to achieve my goals ?
