...participate in a family doctor camp? I'm currently in Grade 11 in high school, in the International Baccalaureate Program. I want to become a family doctor, and I've been told that it would be beneficial to take Grade 11 physics, but I'm not able to take this course during the regular school year. The only time I would be able to take this course would be during July at summer school. However, I also want to participate in a week-long camp called MedQuest Health Career Exploration Camp, where I would gain tons of experience about family doctors (this would also look really good on an application to med school). Unfortunately, this camp runs during July as well. Which one should I do? I won't be able to take summer school next year.

I wouldn't worry about physics because the experience you'll get at that exploration camp is very rewarding and impressive to show to pending colleges.

I would take physics in 12th grade [which I am doing] and in college.

In fact, I didn't take all the medical classes I need in high school because I wasn't allowed to. But in college, I can get that training

Best of luck to you in joining the medical field, I'm going to join you too.

Definitely go to that camp, it seems to be well worth it.
